We have been peparing our selfs and getting used to the menu and tills and all
that great stuff before open day on thursday.
Tonight is the last night of training before we open, we are all looking forward to
opening. I think the centre is also. As we are bringing back the business to the area
once agian.
We have been without a cinema in the area from October last year and finially after
8 weeks of reno's done on the old Village Cinemas, has a risen a new commer READING
CINEMA. It has it's flashy signs and new look of mainly black and red and sliver look. With beautiful big pictures of Lightening McQueen and Happy feet on the back walls near the cinema entrances.
lovely welcoming look about it, better than the ratty run down look that the old village had. With very little appeal at all. It has big screens to tell you whats coming up and whats happening now. It also has the welcoming light boxes on the side that tells you up and coming movies that are soon for release or have been within that week.
It also has an inviting Candy Bar lit up with down lights and the smell of popcorn enters the food court area you know where it's come from.
It's a massifive change from the dark dimsal village to the new funky going with the times cinema. To top it off the funky design of the new chairs which don't sling back and are like half arms so much more comfy.
Also the factor it caters for wheel chair patornes and carrers also. It has one cinema that holds a theatre like style with 200 seats you won't loose out. As well as a 181 seated cinema and 4 cinemas that hold 141 seats in them and yet room for another two if required later on.
