Phillip Island was a Blast !!!!

We have just come back from a wonderful two day short Break in Phillip Island. Had wonderful weather the whole time we were there which was fantastic. We went to the Pingin's on Friday night the beach was nice sitting there watching them all come in to shore. It didn't even get cold either it was just lovely.


We staid at a nice fairly new holiday unit @ Phillip Island Surf and Circuit really nice place as you can see. which i will download when i upload them

Saturday
We visited the Churchill Historical Park where we saw a old house that was built in the 1800's and the place was in great condition like it was preserved. We fed the animals which were out back some of them were Pigs, Cows, Draught Horse as well as Chooks and one sheep , one goat.

We then visited the Koala Park which was interesting if you wish to be attacked by NAT'S as we all were. But we saw five cute cuddly Koalas. Even Matt got into the Spirit and took his pic with a huge hug Koala

We had a lovely nice lunch at PINO's in the main drag of Cowes. It was well worth the money and was nicest meal we've had in a while. Better than La Perchetta.

Sunday
We headed home around 9.15am although check out was at 10am we headed home. This morning was very foggy as we left Phillip Island. As it was we still had the fog with us till we hit Cranbourne.
It was a lovely weekend away.

Been feeling a lil Emotional

Been going through a bit of an emotional time at the moment with it all coming up to the Anniversary of Joshua's Death on the 5th June. It's been 10 years since my boy was taken on that dim day back in 1998 at only 3 mths of age.

I have been having weird dreams about things in my past and life as it is now. One was a frighten wake up call the other morning as i woke up crying as it felt so surreal. It was about my current partner and my kids,myself in a car accident. How it happened my partner was contacting a friend and was dropping off something with him but he wouldn't answer the phone while driving out the country way somewhere. So my partner said if he rang back it meant he was home, sure enough it rang but i had a go at him for letting it ring. He said he wanted to go get him a thank you basket as he looked at me while driving. We were hitting a black spot bend and couldn't see the road ended up rolling the car 5 or 6 times down a hill the car had my daughter in the back and son in front with me and my partner and two other ppl i have no idea who in back also. As it was my partner was dead some where up the hill the three in back seat were dead also. I was stuck between the roof lining and the seat near the shoulder part as i was holding onto my son in the front seat so tight i didn't wanna let go, he had a gear stick through his stomach and i was screaming for help but no one could hear me. I then heard someone say whats happened i am stuck i was saying and my son is with me in here help me. Next thing i knew i was told everyone i love dearly were all dead due to the accident my partner was killed on impact with the tumble of the car which crushed him, as for my daughter it was head injuries, my son he died due to a gear stick through his stomach and lost to much blood and i was balling my eyes out and that's what woke me in the end as my pillow was wet.

Morel of the story is that the arm i had wrapped around my son to hold him felt like i had some how dislocated it and was sore the past two days to the point i couldn't do much with out pain and my heads been aching where the roof hit my head. It felt like i was there in the accident and was recovering the last two days. Morel is I have to stop dreaming so real dreams that hurt me and my family members. But last time i dreamt like this was when Josh Died and i knew even before i woke up that he was dead which was really my wake up call that shocked me. So yeah thats not the end of my weird week i have been crying ova nothing been feeling unappreciated at all by everyone at the moment. I dunno feel like i am going through a mid life brake down only i know it's not. But that is my weird and wonderful week so far.

Time to Move ON!

Yesturday i had a pithy and thought that i need to move on in life and get some where finally in my life. As i am not getting any younger and i need to get a life that's more controlled than what it is now.
So i have decided that the first move towards this is to go back to hunting around for a full time job.Although i have a job that's casual that i enjoy i just need something more permanent.

Today was the first of those job interviews which was good i guess. I went for a position in Sandwich Hand ....... 3 days a week in hrs that suit me and the kids too.

Tomorrow i am off to check out another job which is kinda in the times that i want also. In Customer Service ............ something i can do even with a smile hahaha.

I am looking foward to having a job that i can wake up to and know i have something worth while.

Weekend in Sheperton!

We saw all the moving Art that's done by the students of Victoria Uni all done on Cows all around Sheperton.
We also went to SPC Factory while there, pity i missed out on the Campbell's Factory as i didn't realise it was there till we left yesterday haha!

We staied in a nice motel that tried to be 4 star which was really dismal for the place really as it wasn't completely up to scratch. The room was impressive apart from walls coming adrift at the seams and guest laundry (dryer wouldn't dry clothing) etc.... Pool was nice but not completely heated indoor one that is. The outdoor one i wouldn't go near, spa and sauna was heaven.

As for dinner food at the Ginjar Restaurant it was what i call crap and so not worth it in anyway or shape. While Breakie on the other hand was outstanding lovely. Open Buffet which consists of poached eggs, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, pancakes,cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, orange juice and pineapple juice and not to mention tea n coffee.


We also went to Echua to go on the Paddle Steamer Boats first time kids been on one so they were like we don't wanna go to start off with as they thought they would miss out on going to Kids Town but once we got there they were like can't we go on one.
We went up the Murry River 5 miles then turned around it took an hour to do. Kids had a ball.
We also looked around old township looked at the blacksmiths , candle making shop and also looked at the photo's of old times.

We went to Kids Town for the kids to play around on the huge slides and little ones also, flying foxes, sandpits, go on the train, play on swings and play on the forts also.

We also went to the Lavender Farm which was 10 mins out of sheperton it was a cute little cottage which had alot of lovely stuff i must say.

We also went to Heriege Farm which has a Nursery (plants) and Stautes place , it also has a mini golf and small farm with train ride for kids , Hay bail rides, Pony rides and discovring animals.
We even got to hold a week old bunny and 1 mth old bunny. Brook got to lead the pony to its stable and put it away.

Then we came home and that was our fun filled weekend in Shep!
